Obituary of Edith Pellerin

Obituary At the WCGH on July 31, 2018, Edith (Moreau) Pellerin (late Paul 2003) of Welland in her 96th year. Mother of Suzanne Pellerin (husband Robert Giroux) and Raymond (wife Lorraine). Dear sister of Jeannine Bédard of Welland, Monique Béliveau, Clothilde Lamothe, Marie-Berthe Parr all of Québec. Mrs. Pellerin will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Renée Lavigne, Michel Pellerin, Christine and Dr. R. Daniel Pellerin, great-grandchildren Eric and Danielle Lavigne and Sophie Pellerin. She was predeceased by her son Pierre (2000), her parents Ludger and Eugénie Moreau, brother Rolland and sisters Simonne Tourigny and Lucille Poirier. Born in St. Wenceslaus, Québec and moved to Welland in 1945. She was a member of the Filles D’Isabelle, Châtelaine, Femmes Chrétiennes, Club D’Age D’Or and the Catholic Women’s League. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main St., Welland Friday August 3rd from 9:45–10:45am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00am at Église du Sacré-Coeur. Private inurnment at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
