Obituary of Jacques Lachance

Obituary It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jacques Lachance at the Welland Hospital on November 14, 2018. Jack was a devoted and loving husband of 53 years to Thérèse (née Coutu). Father of Marc and Lynn. Brother of Diane, Carole (Jean-Guy Fournier), Linda (Leonard Ismond) and brother-in-law to Lucienne Paquette, Pauline Coutu and Gemma Coutu. Predeceased by his parents Armand and Yvette (née Lejeune), his brother André (Thérèse) and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Jack was born in St. Magloire de Bellechasse, Québec and moved to Welland at a young age. He worked for many years on the rolling mills at Atlas Steel. He loved to travel with Thérèse and although a simple man, he lived for the moment. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Private interment will take place at a later date. The family were grateful for the compassionate care that was given to Jack in the ICU Welland and has asked that donations to the Niagara Health Foundation ICU-Welland Hospital be considered when honoring his memory.
