Obituary of Angela Albano
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Angela Albano, who left us far too soon at the age of 41. Angela passed away on January 12, 2025, leaving an irreplaceable void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Born on August 29, 1983, Angela was a shining light in the lives of others. She was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, resilience, positive energy, and big beautiful smile touched everyone around her. Throughout her life, Angela faced many challenges with unwavering strength and a bright spirit, trying to make the world a better place. In her pursuit of happiness, she met adversity with great courage, always striving for a future filled with hope and possibility.
Angela's memory will be cherished forever. She leaves behind her loving parents, Nick and Teresa Albano (née Agostino), and her brothers, Nicodemo, Francesco, and Alessandro. Angela will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as by many friends who will remember her warmth, laughter, deep care for others, and the countless moments of joy they shared together.
Angela is predeceased by her Nana Maria, whom she loved dearly. She has now been reunited with her best friend and loyal pet companion, Kilo.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main Street, Welland, on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. A funeral mass at 12:00 p.m. will follow at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 4 St. Andrews Avenue, Welland, with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 50 Woodlawn Road, Welland. As an expression of sympathy, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Niagara Branch, an organization that was close to Angela’s heart.
