Obituary of Paul Douglas Rogers

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our father, Paul Douglas Rogers on January 8, 2025. In his 68th year, Dad passed at Welland Hospital with family by his side. Paul was predeceased by his father Elmer, and will be fondly remembered by his mother, Joan. He will be profoundly missed by his children - Jennifer, Cory and Lindsay, and grandchildren Acadia, Nevaeh and Sydney. He leaves behind his best friend, Jason, though his life will be honoured by many friends and extended family.
Paul had a lifelong love for football, particularly his Hamilton Tiger-Cats and New Orleans Saints, and an unwavering passion for riding his Harley Davidson. These were not just hobbies for Paul—they were part of who he was, representing his love for freedom, adventure, and the joy of living in the moment.
Through his unique life lessons and experiences, we remember to cherish each moment, remain true to those around you and count your blessings.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St, Welland. As per Paul’s wishes cremation has taken place, the family will be holding a celebration of life at a later date.
