Obituary of Irene Bellows
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom, Irene Bellows (née Wojewoda) on December 16th, 2024 at the age of 87 in Welland, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Frank Bellows. Cherished mother of Sandy Ferko (John), Sue Warring (Ed), and Nancy Cameron (Earl), Craig Cameron. Along with cherished grandchildren Mike (Carol), Niki (Brendan), Stephanie (Ed), Rachel (Martin), Rogan (Alanna), Carrie, Dale (Brooke), Leslie (Jared), and Blake (Shannon). Irene also leaves behind 13 great grandchildren.
Irene is best known for her great warmth, sense of humour, and love of her family, of whom she was most proud. She never missed a recital, parade, or graduation. Irene loved making everything around her beautiful, from her garden to her teacup collection. She loved hunting for treasures at flea markets and yard sales from Dunnville to Florida. Her family will forever cherish the memories of Nama and think of her most when cooking in their Corningware, sharing meals together or rocking on the porch.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. Interment will take place January 25 2025 at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Cemetery, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Fonthill Legion.
