Obituary of André Hardy
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andy Hardy, who peacefully went to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on September 22, 2024, at the St. Catharines General Hospital.
Andy is survived by his loving wife, Francine Hardy (née Fournier), with whom he shared 61 wonderful years. He was a devoted father to Marc (Heidi) and Dan (Becky), and a cherished Papa to Jacob, Brandon, Micheal (Bridget), and Dana. He also took great pride in being a great grandpa to Ben and Emerson.
With over 40 years dedicated to Atlas Steels in Welland, Andy was a hardworking and committed individual. He was known for his social nature, cherishing friendships, and enjoyed being a passionate golfer. Andy loved to travel and, above all, treasured the time spent with his beloved family. His zest for life and commitment to sharing his faith inspired everyone around him.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 827 East Main St., Welland, on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. A chapel service will follow in the funeral home chapel, with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
