Obituary of Clifford Phillip Menezes
Clifford Menezes passed away peacefully at his residence on May 6, 2024, at the age of 75. Born in Goa, India, Clifford immigrated to Canada at the age of 13. He was a man of few words, known for his quiet demeanor and reluctance to share details about his private life.
He told us that in his youth he discovered a passion for flying while serving in the Cadets, a passion that led to a career at Air Canada, where he was involved in flight operations. Clifford was also an avid billiards player. He could often be found at the Welland Wellness Centre, honing his skills and enjoying the camaraderie of his fellow players. His friends knew him to be a formidable opponent on the billiards table, and he took great pride in these daily challenge sessions.
Clifford will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. His quiet strength, passion, and skill at billiards were just a few of the qualities that made him so beloved. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
