Obituary of Jacqueline Mary Dora Pinard

Jacqueline Pinard, a cherished resident of Welland, passed away on March 11, 2024, at the Welland General Hospital at the age of 83. She will be fondly remembered for her vibrant spirit and unwavering love for her family and the outdoors. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband, Paul Pinard, her children: Michael Pinard (Rachel), Monique Semenuk (Eddie), Helene Berry (Gilles), Andrew Pinard (Sherry), Linda Kostecky (John Arthur), as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Paul and Marie Pratte, and her sister, Murielle Meyers. She shared a deep and enduring love with her husband, Paul and together they created a lifetime of cherished memories. Their bond was a source of strength and companionship, enriching the lives of all who knew them. Jacqueline's devotion to her children and grandchildren knew no bounds. She reveled in their company, finding joy in every moment spent together. Her love and guidance have left an indelible mark on their hearts, shaping them into the individuals they are today. Jacqueline found solace and joy in tending to her gardens, where she would spend countless hours immersed in the beauty of nature. Her passion for gardening reflected her nurturing and caring nature, which extended to every aspect of her life. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at the Welland General Hospital for their exceptional care and support during Jacqueline's time of need.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, located at 827 East Main Street, Welland, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A chapel service will be held at 1:00 p.m., with inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family, honoring Jacqueline's commitment to the well-being of others. Though Jacqueline may have departed from this world, her love and cherished memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace.
