He gave a lot of his family and quality time to help heal and inspire the many friends that he loved. His pride and joy was his three amazing sons, Phil Jr., Raymond and Rene and most of all his grandchildren that followed. Phil, you will be remembered for many things in life. Phil was an awesome man very loyal and I met him when I joined his gym and I remember all the tips he gave me which allowed me to go on to greater things. This is a shock because he is so young he was always in great shape. I rarely get back to Canada anymore and a few times I did run into him. Phils health club could of even been bigger had he had the exposure. Thanks Phil You will be missed

Cette nouvelle m'a beaucoup attristée. Phil était un homme avec une foi inébranlable et avec de belles qualités de coeur tant sur le plan humain que familial. Il aimait sa communauté chrétienne de Sacré-Coeur et s'engageait a fond dans les projets communautaires.
En sa mémoire, je célébrerai une messe a la Basilique de Ste-Anne ce dimanche 17 février a 9h30. Qu'il repose en paix!

I met Phil when I was 16 and have been the best of friends for nearly 50 years. He took a chance on me and ended up giving me a life in the right direction. He never stopped giving. Even post heart surgery he was more concerned for me than himself. That was the kind of man he was. You were father, brother. mentor , friend. Condolences to the family. Phil was the greatest. I will feel lost without him. I can truly say that I was blessed to have known this beautiful soul for so many years. Rest in Peace my friend.

My sincerest condolences to Lucille and the family. I will always remember Phil for his strength and determination in fighting for workers rights for a safe job. We traveled together to many union councils and training sessions. Phil always asked me to do the driving. I was pleased to do it. I will surely miss him and never forget him. Phil will be missed by the many that he touched with his kindness and helpful ways.

To Lucille and the entire Moran Family I offer my sincerest sympathy. Phil always made it clear that his Family was his First priority. He spoke often of his loving Wife and three sons Phil Jr., Raymond and Rene. His Grandchildren were the light of his life, in later years. Phil had a special gift, which he was able to use to help injured workers, he helped them heal, and improved the work place, so they would not get injured again. Many of these policies were adapted and are in place across the GM chain to this day. Phil was truly loved and respected by his fellow Union Reps, as they recognized not only his talents, but his humility. Rest in peace my Friend.

A friend recently reminded me that our faith can be a great source of consolation because it speaks of Eternal life. Everything we liked about Phil is not dead. What makes us unique is in the soul and it's immortal! Like so many of our loved ones who have gone to God, Philip will live forever!
