Obituary of Jeffrey Mark Gorges
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Mark Gorges on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Loving son of Mariona and Gottfried Gorges. Jeffery was a loving brother to Greg & Gloria Gorges, and Angie (Norm) Turcotte. He will be forever cherished by his nieces and nephews: Stephen, Jennie, Lisa, Melissa, Michael, Eric, Jason, Jessie, Stacey, Jeremy, Travis and Carrissa. Predeceased by his brother Fred. Forever in the hearts of his many aunts & uncles, friends and co-workers.
Jeffrey found joy and fulfillment in woodworking, a passion that brought beauty and craftsmanship into the lives of those around him. His memory will live on through the pieces he created and the love he shared.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St, Welland, ON. Keeping with Jeffrey’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date for close family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations for the Canadian Cancer Society will be greatly appreciated by the family.
