Our "Miss Wanda" came into our lives when our children were little! I believe they were about 6 and 2. They are now 33 and 29!
We needed a helping hand in our home...our children were challenging! Our one son was diagnosed bipolar at 8 yrs old. She worked with us for about 2 yrs, then came to live with us, got married about a yr and a half later, she still worked with us. Her ECE education was an asset! She was a number of yrs older ( about 14 lol) but had already experienced " parenthood" she came to us with parenting experience, and formal education on the young ones. She was patient and kind, loving yet stern! To the kids, and us as parents! My kids loved her( unless she called them on stuff lol) as scott and i did. The impact she had on our lives was more than anyone could imagine! She indeed was our life saver! Miss wanda: you soo mattered to us! As life went by, and we all went our own ways we thought of you often. I will share a very funny story! My youngest son , at about 2 1/2 had been having problems at daycare: biting, hitting ect. We worked with him with fairly good results . I need to mention that my son had a love for "ilons" ( nylons) long hair and boobies lol...he was either running his fingers thru my hair, feeling the ilons on my legs our sticking his hand down my top lol...I tried to wein him off the boobie feel! Well, Miss Wanda often picked the kids up after daycare...Andrew was very excited to tell her he had a good day , "good day miss Wanda, no biting" she of course followed with " way to go buddy! I'm so proud of you!"...Andrew then said ( with a crowd of parents picking up their kids) " now can I feel your boobies" LOL BIG TIME! She was so embarrassed! Poor Miss Wanda! God rest her soul, she was an amazing women. condolences to her family, Ron and her friends ☹

Mom words can not express the sadness of you leaving us so soon. The years lost we will never be able to recapture, the only thing left are stories and memories of you. Gone but not forgotten and forever in my heat glad we had the hug I’ll never realize how much it meant to me and I do love you xoxo
