Obituary of Nicholas Bert Olah
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Nicholas Olah on March 10, 2026, at the age of 84 at Royal Rose Place.
Beloved husband of Huguette (née Coulombe) for 60 years, Nicholas shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and cherished memories with his devoted wife. Together they built a family that remained the center of his life and greatest pride.
He was a devoted father to Audrey (Gary) Burns, Cedric Olah, and Edward Olah. Nicholas took great pride in his children and was always there with steady support, thoughtful advice, and unconditional love. He was also a cherished grandfather to Ronan, Garyn, Ethan, Aaron, and Owen, who will remember him fondly and carry forward the warmth and wisdom he shared with them.
Nicholas will also be dearly missed by his sisters, Rose Griffith, Mary Stevens, Yolanda Boda, Helen Atamanuk (Rick) and Elizabeth Bolduc (Yvon). He was pre deceased by his brothers Steve Olah, Charlie Olah, Alek Olah, Louie Olah and his sister Margaret. He held his family close to his heart and treasured the many moments spent together over the years.
Nicholas had a deep love for nature and the natural world. He found great enjoyment in watching nature programs on television and learning about wildlife and the beauty of the outdoors. These quiet interests brought him much happiness and reflected his gentle and thoughtful spirit.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Royal Rose Place for the compassionate care and kindness shown to Nicholas during his time residing there. Their dedication and support brought comfort to both Nicholas and his loved ones.
Nicholas will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
