Obituary of Eloise Angele Virag
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Eloise Virag (née Dalcourt) on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the age of 70.
Eloise was the beloved wife and devoted partner of Brian Virag, with whom she shared many years of love, companionship, and cherished memories. She was a stepmother to Isaac (Jessica) and Jacob (Teresa).
She was a dear and loving sister to Andy (Cindy), Monique (Steve), and Lucille, and a treasured member of the Dalcourt family. Eloise was predeceased by her parents, Noel and Clothilde Dalcourt, whose love and guidance helped shape the compassionate and thoughtful person she became.
Eloise will be fondly remembered by her extended family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle spirit, caring nature, and quiet strength touched many lives and will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
Eloise found joy in sewing. Her life reflected a deeply Christian heart and a true love for God, and she was a devoted member of Wellspring Community Church.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, who will forever cherish the time they shared with her.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St. Welland, ON. Family and friends are invited to join Eloise’s family for visitation on Monday March 16, 2026 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in memory of Eloise to the Welland Food Bank would be appreciated by the family.
