Obituary of Daniel St-Amand
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel St-Amand, lovingly known to his friends and family as “Cinnamon,” on March 1, 2026, at the age of 58.
Dan was a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Linda, together married for 37 beautiful years. He was an incredibly proud father to his two children, Brittany (Natalie) and Dylan (Megan). They will forever cherish their papa’s guidance, steady support, and unconditional love.
Cherishing his memory are his brother Claude (Tammy), his brother-in-law Bobby (Karen), and his sister-in-law Carole (Joe). He will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, all of whom brought him great joy.
Daniel is survived by his father, Clement St-Amand. He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Claudette (Dallaire) St-Amand, and his in-laws, Valmond Beaudin and Linova (Lebreton) Beaudin.
Dan was known for his strong work ethic, his big, welcoming smile, and his legendary hugs. He approached everything he did with enthusiasm and heart. Even when life didn’t go as planned, he would grin and say, “Danny is always OK” — a phrase that reflected his resilience and positive spirit.
He could often be found in the garage, carefully customizing his beloved Triumph to make it, as he proudly called it, “A-la-Dan,” or riding his Harley throughout the neighborhood, enjoying the open road and the simple pleasure of the ride. He had a passion for working out in his home gym and spent many hours in his hobby room crafting his next leather project, always creating something uniquely his own.
At home, his faithful cat Bamboo provided him with companionship and quiet comfort.
Dan’s life was marked by love, laughter, dedication, and authenticity. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, warmth, and unwavering devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
The family invites relatives and friends to come and celebrate Dan’s life at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTER, 827 East Main St., Welland, on Friday March 6, 2026, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
