Obituary of Gisele Cunningham
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Gisele Cunningham (née Toulouse) on Friday, February 20, 2026, in her 79th year, with her loving family by her side.
Gisele was the devoted wife of Claude for 59 wonderful years and a cherished and loving mother to Cindy Cunningham.
She was predeceased by her father, Jean-Paul Toulouse; her sister, Claudette Singer; and her brothers, Claude and Reynald Toulouse. Gisele will be deeply missed by her mother, Anna Boutin; her sisters, Pauline (late Rene) Bourdon, Madeleine Toulouse, and Irene Toulouse; her sister-in-law, Rachelle Cunningham; her brother-in-law, Doug Singer; and by her many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTER, 827 East Main St., Welland, ON, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to celebrate Gisele’s life. Vigil prayers will be held at 4:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gisele’s memory to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
