Obituary of Dorothy Jean

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dorothy Marie Julie Jean, 75, on February 15, 2026, in Welland.

Dorothy was a devoted mother to Eric and Julie and a proud grandmother to Linus, Eloise, Felix, Hunter, and Gracie, who brought her immense joy. Spirited and creative, she loved music, movies, and dancing, and was known for her beautifully decorated cakes, handmade costumes, and knitted gifts. She lived life to the fullest, loved holidays, especially Christmas, and cherished time with family and friends.

Dorothy is survived by her sisters, Lise and Marielle, her brother, Mario, and her two cherished cats, Meeka and Jersey.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St. Welland, ON. A funeral service will be held at Rosedale Baptist Church on Saturday February 28, 2026 at 11:30 a.m.
