Obituary of Jacqueline Lawrence
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Lawrence at the Port Colborne Hospital. Jackie was the loving wife of Annette Lamontagne. Cherished daughter to Linda Holmes (Adrian) and Walter Lawrence and daughter in law to Ron Lamontagne (late Ginette).
Jackie is lovingly remembered by her stepchildren Tylor and Madi. Forever remaining in the hearts of her siblings,Brenda (Randy) and Dan (Barb), as well as her stepsister, Stacey. She will be fondly remembered by her in-laws, Larry (Tracy) and Jamie (Tammy). She will be deeply missed by her many nieces and nephews, Carly, Mitchell, Tayler, Hannah, Evan, Matt, Allisa, Allana, Hunter, Jesse and Bryce and her great-niece Charlotte. Jackie will also be deeply missed by her many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jackie had a deep love for music, which brought her comfort and joy throughout her life. She also cherished time spent at the beach and quiet moments in her backyard, where she found peace in nature.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the palliative care team at the Walker Family Cancer Clinic, the palliative care team at Port Colborne Hospital, her PSW’s from VON and her nurses at St. Elizabeth’s for their compassion and care.
The family invites relatives and friends to honour Jacqueline’s life at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTER, 827 East Main Street, Welland, on Saturday, February 21st from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. with a chapel service to follow at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Walker Family Cancer Clinic is greatly appreciated by the family.
