Obituary of Pierrette Marie Misener
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pierrette Misener (née Morin), at the age of 84, on Saturday, December 27th, 2025 at the Welland Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Roy Misener (1999). She was also predeceased by her parents Pierre and Cécile Morin and her brother Philippe Morin and his late wife Monique.
Pierrette will be deeply missed by her sisters Berthe (Roland Deschamps), Rita (Rock Fortier) and her sister-in-law Lucille Morin. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and her dear friend John.
Pierrette loved people and she worked as a Secretary at St. Mary’s Church for over 20 years and another 20 years at Église Sacré-Coeur.
We would like to thank Father Guy and Father Frank for administration of the sacraments at the hospital. It meant a lot to her and her family.
The family invites friends and relatives to come and honour Pierrette’s life at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland, on Monday, January 5th, 2026, from 2–4 p.m. and from 6–8 p.m. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 6th at 11 a.m. at Église Sacré-Coeur. A burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Paroisse Sacré-Coeur or mass donations.
