Obituary of Larry Raye Creighton
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry Creighton, on Monday, December 1, 2025, at the Port Colborne Hospital, at the age of 79.
Larry will forever remain in the heart of his loving wife Jean. Beloved father of Kevin (Shawna) and the cherished stepfather of Stephanie (Joe) and Vince. He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Hunter, Riley, Jack, Madison, Quinn, Macy, Max, and Ethan. He will forever remain in the hearts of his brothers Robert (Pat), Jim (Judy), and Lester (Connie), as well as by his many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart.
A passionate outdoorsman, Larry found his greatest joy in the quiet moments spent in nature. Whether he was casting a line or tracking deer through the woods, the outdoors was where he felt most at peace. He cherished the camaraderie of hunting trips with friends and family, and he took pride in passing down his knowledge and love of the wilderness to his children and grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Welland Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, 827 East Main St., Welland, ON. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Saturday, December 6th, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, which are deeply appreciated.
