Obituary of Sandra Miller

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sandra Miller, who departed this life on November 20, 2025, in her hometown of Welland. Born on June 14, 1940, also in Welland, Sandra lived a life filled with purpose, dedication, and a profound love for music.

Sandra devoted her career to teaching music, enriching the lives of countless students with her patience, talent, and passion for the arts. Her gentle encouragement and unwavering belief in the power of music left an enduring impact on all who had the privilege of learning from her.

Family, friends, former students, and community members are invited to honor Sandra’s life at Welland Funeral Home, located at 827 East Main Street, Welland, on Wednesday, November 26th. Visitation will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 2:00 p.m.

In memory of Sandra, donations may be made to the Niagara Conservatory of Music, an organization that reflects her lifelong dedication to musical education.

Sandra will be remembered for her kindness, her warmth, and the beautiful music she shared with the world. She will be deeply missed.
