Obituary COXON, William "Billy" - 1961 - 2020 It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of William "Billy" Coxon at Douglas Memorial Hospital on July 21, 2020 at the age of 59. He will be sadly missed by his son Brandon (Haley), his grandson Luca, his brother John, his nephew Chad, niece Emily(Steve) his sister Darlene Swayze (Mark), & nephew Ian(Courtney) & many cousins, aunts and uncles. His girlfriend Mandy Penney and her son Brandon Emmerson. His best friend Mike Lafleur aka Froggy who was a big part of his life. Predeceased by his parents Douglas and Ruth (nee Evans) Coxon and his nephew Eric Swayze. Special thanks to his nurses Jackie & Christine. Billy had a love for sports especially baseball and hockey. He played with many teams & made many friends over the years. He actively cheered for his favorite Toronto teams, the Blue Jays and the Maple Leafs. In accordance with Billy's wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations can be made to the Welland Humane Society in memory of Billy. A private celebration of life may be held at a later date.
