Obituary of Raymond Joseph Arthur Perreault

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Perreault on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at the age of 67 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital. 

Raymond will be deeply missed by his devoted wife of 44 years, Marie (née Paillé), his five children: Brian (Stephanie West), Mélanie (Brandon MacKay), Stephan (Sabrina Ray), David, and Casey (Dan MacLeod).  He was a cherished Pépère to his eight grandchildren: Ayden, Karley, Chloe, Mackenzie, Jase, Grayson, Olivia and Benoit. 

Dear brother of Yves (Deb), Gérald (Linda), Henri (Nicole) and Sylvie (Terry). 

Also remembered by his brothers- and sisters-in-law: Monique (Philippe) Labrèche, Denise (late Gérard d.c.) Demers, Marcel (Lise) Paillé, Soeur Lucille Paillé, n.d.a., Suzanne (late Raymond) Paillé, Diane (Bert) Lambert, Lionel (Wanita) Paillé, Jean-Marie (late Claudette) Paillé, Richard (late Thérèse) Raymond, Jocelyne (Lorne) Sidey, Luc (Andrea) Paillé, Julie (Dave) Stortz, and close cousin Pierre (Denise) Paillé.

Raymond has gone to be reunited with his parents, Normand and Yvette (née Fontaine) Perreault and by his parents-in-law, Lucien and Colette (née Nadeau) Paillé. He was also predeceased by brothers-in-law René Paillé and Alain Paillé and sister-in-law Lucie (née Cormier) Perreault.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the medical teams at the Welland and Niagara Falls hospitals for their care and support, especially the Niagara Falls ICU staff for their exceptional care and kindness during Raymond’s final week.  The family would also like to thank Père Guy Bertin for his spiritual guidance. 

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre on Friday, October 24th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm.  A funeral mass will be held at Paroisse Sacré Coeur, on Saturday, October 25th at 11am.  A burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery.  

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Paroisse Sacré-Coeur in Raymond’s memory.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Raymond Perreault, survenu le dimanche 19 octobre 2025 à l’âge de 67 ans, à l’Hôpital général de Niagara Falls.

Raymond laisse dans le deuil son épouse dévouée depuis 44 ans, Marie (née Paillé), ainsi que ses cinq enfants : Brian (Stephanie West), Mélanie (Brandon MacKay), Stephan (Sabrina Ray), David et Casey (Dan MacLeod). Il était le Pépère chéri de ses huit petits-enfants: Ayden, Karley, Chloe, Mackenzie, Jase, Grayson, Olivia et Benoit.

Il était le frère bien-aimé de Yves (Deb), Gérald (Linda), Henri (Nicole) et Sylvie (Terry).

Il était aussi beau-frère à : Monique (Philippe) Labrèche, Denise (feu Gérard.d.c.) Demers, Marcel (Lise) Paillé, Sœur Lucille Paillé, n.d.a., Suzanne (feu Raymond) Paillé, Diane (Bert) Lambert, Lionel (Wanita) Paillé, Jean-Marie (feue Claudette) Paillé, Richard (feue Thérèse) Raymond, Jocelyne (Lorne) Sidey, Luc (Andrea) Paillé, Julie (Dave) Stortz, ainsi qu’un cousin proche Pierre (Denise) Paillé.

Raymond est allé rejoindre ses parents Normand et Yvette (née Fontaine) Perreault, ainsi que ses beaux-parents, Lucien et Colette (née Nadeau) Paillé. Il a également été précédé par ses beaux-frères René et Alain Paillé, ainsi que sa belle-sœur Lucie (née Cormier) Perreault.

La famille remercie sincèrement le personnel médical des hôpitaux de Welland et de Niagara Falls pour leurs soins et leur soutien, en particulier l’équipe des soins intensifs de Niagara Falls pour leur attention exceptionnelle et leur compassion durant la dernière semaine de Raymond. La famille souhaite également remercier le Père Guy Bertin pour son accompagnement spirituel.

La famille recevra parents et amis au Welland Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception Centre, le vendredi 24 octobre de 14h-16h et 18h-20h.  La messe funéraire aura lieu à la Paroisse Sacré-Cœur, le samedi 25 octobre à 11h, suivie de l’inhumation au cimetière Holy Cross.

Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Paroisse Sacré-Cœur en mémoire de Raymond seraient grandement appréciés.
