Obituary of Jacqueline Perron

Obituary Jacqueline Perron (née Ménard) passed away peacefully on December 11, 2020 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Jules-Aimé Perron (1970). Cherished mother of Normande Toulouse (late Réal), Huguette Torresin (Larry), Denise West (Rod) and late Lorraine (1964). She will be sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren; Michelle (Jason), Denis (Kelly), Johanne, Lisa (Steven), Stephanie (Brian), Jessica (Jordan), 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Hormidas and Césaria (née Gosselin). Jacqueline was born in St. Magloire, Québec. She was the oldest of 13 children. She grew up on the family farm before moving to Welland in 1945. She was an avid cribbage player for the Ladies Cribbage League for over 35 years. She also was in a bowling league for many years. She loved playing cards with family, knitting, watching game shows and her homemade soup was the best ever. Special thanks to Jocelyne, Kim and all the palliative care team for all their care and compassion, you truly went above and beyond to make sure mom was comfortable. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME. Keeping with Jacqueline’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service has taken place. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Niagara Hospice or a charity of choice will be greatly appreciated by the family.
