Obituary of Stephen John Guillemette
It is with Heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear loved one Stephen John Guillemette (Papa Steve) at the age of 58 on September 4th, 2025, one week before his 59th Birthday.
Born on September 10th, 1966, in Welland to Alice and Claude Guillemette.
Stephen is survived by his sister Denise (Wayne) and his beloved cat Bart, whom he thought the world of. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and his very special friends, Shawn and Kristina Kelly, along with their son Mason to whom was loved by his Papa Steve very much. He was predeceased by his mother Alice (2006), Father Claude (2024), grandparents as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stephen worked at the Rexall Drug Store in the home Health Care Department and was adored by his coworkers. He loved to play Bingo and spend time with his friends.
The family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate Stephen’s life at the Welland Funeral Home, Cremation and Reception centre, 827 East Main St., from 11:00am till the service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday September 8th,2025. Following with Stephen wishes, cremation will then take place. In lieu of flowers, donatations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation.
