Grace, Maria, Luisa and families
Scott and I are very sorry for your loss as your husband and father held a very special place in my heart. He had a sparkle in his eyes whenever he talked to you and shared with you some of his comedy and insight. Growing up with Maria throughout high school and college enabled me to spend time with Grace's wonderful food and hospitality while listening to Luigi's stories and laughter. Not long after his retirement he made it a practice to make wine and cure meat to give away to everyone he knew. He was such a kind soul with a heart of gold and everyone will miss him terribly. God bless Luigi
Love

My heartfelt condolences to Zia Grazia, Maria and Luisa and famiglia. Zio Louie will be greatly missed by all that were fortunate enough to know him. A fond memory from my youth was of Zio helping when we were constructing our home, after a long day of heavy labour, we were grateful and saying our goodbyes… I found it remarkable that he sincerely thanked us as he was leaving for home. He was such an incredibly humble soul. May Zio Louie rest in peace and I’m sure he will be welcomed with open arms as the newest ‘rookie’ in the afterlife.
With Love ;
Lou, Joanne, Robbie and Alicia Mussari

We are deeply saddened and, like many, heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Zio Luigi (also known as Uncle Lui by my children). There is a whirlwind of emotions, but also an abundance of gratitude and love. Zio Luigi was my father's older brother as well as my Godfather (a decision that was a no-brainer for my dad because, as he told me, "He'll always be there for you, you'll never have to worry about that." Little did any of us know that sentiment would come to fruition in a multitude of ways. For nearly 31 years, Zio Luigi has been a father figure, mentor and protector, stepping in when my father passed suddenly.
This speaks volumes about the kind of man Zio Luigi was — loyal, selfless, and steadfast in his love for his family. He carried the weight of responsibility with grace, never seeking recognition, but always ensuring that those around him felt safe, supported, and cared for. His quiet strength, steady presence, and unwavering commitment reflect a deep sense of integrity and compassion that defined who he was.
As Ernest Hemingway once said, “Every man has two deaths: when he is buried in the ground and the last time someone says his name.” With the countless lives he touched and the love he leaves behind, Zio Luigi’s name will continue to be spoken, his stories will continue to be shared, and his spirit will live on for generations to come.
I will never be able to convey the gratitude, love, and admiration I have for him.
Rest in Paradise, Zio. We miss you, love you, and more than anything, we thank you for being the person you are.
With our Deepest Sympathies,
Maria, Nathaniel, Matteo and Andreas Leung
