In Memory of Emery Gervais

With mixed emotions, we announce the passing of Emery Gervais on May 17, 2025, at the age of 86.

Beloved husband of the late Maureen Gervais (née Cecchini), Emery is remembered by his children Murray Gervais (Rose), Grant Gervais (Darcy), and Leanne Derrah (Brian), as well as his sister Gail Arsenault. He was predeceased by his parents, Florence and Edmore Gervais, his brothers Gilbert, Don, and Edmore Gervais, and his sister Doreen Shultz.

Emery worked throughout his life as a truck driver and car salesman. He had a passion for music, often playing guitar, and cherished his winters spent in Florida. We all hope he has finally found peace. 

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the Grand Canal Retirement Residence and the Welland Funeral Home for their compassionate care and support during this difficult time.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland, ON. Following Emery’s wishes cremation has taken place.
