Obituary of Lynn Cormier
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn Cormier (née Lavallee), who left us peacefully on April 17, 2025, at the age of 57, surrounded by the love of her family.
Lynn now reunites with her beloved father, Raynald Lavallee, and her cherished niece, Kacey-Lynn Rainville, in eternal rest. She leaves behind her devoted husband, soulmate, and best friend of 36 years, Billy, as well as her loving children Brandon (Andrea) and Ashley (Kevin), and her adored grandson, William.
Her memory will be deeply treasured by her mother, Ghislaine Lavallee (née Poulin), and her sisters Lynda (Gilbert), Liliane, Lise (Roger), and Louise (Tom). Lynn also held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Lynn embraced life with joy, warmth, and an open heart. She found happiness in life’s little moments and shared her vibrant energy, kindness, and radiant smile with all who knew her. Her presence will be profoundly missed, but her spirit lives on in the love she gave.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St, Welland. Following Lynn’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
