Obituary of Patricia Robichaud
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Paulette Marie Robichaud (née Lapensée) on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the Welland Hospital, at the age of 84. Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Moïse and a devoted mother to Marc (Sheila), Daniel (Rejeanne), & Lionel (Michelle). She will forever be cherished by her five grandchildren: Hillary (Jayson), Kaylee (Eric), Brittany, Julie, & Anne (Umar), as well as her eight great-grandchildren: Abel, Vada, Navy, Abby-Jai, Navaeh, Ellora, & Maximus.
Patricia was also deeply loved by her siblings, Roger (Rolande), George (Helen), and Laurier (Ghislaine) Lapensée, Denise Turcot (late Gille) as well as her brother-in-law Nil (Huguette) Robichaud. She will forever be in the heart of her best friend and sister, Denise, with whom she shared many joyful moments, including their beloved bingo games.
She is predeceased and now reunited with her loving husband Moïse, her dear parents August & Leda, and her siblings Jeanette, Pierette, Lionel, as well as her nephew Bruno.
A woman of many talents, Patricia found joy in cooking, knitting, crocheting, and playing bingo. She was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens, the Toronto Blue Jays, and curling. Above all, Patricia treasured the time spent with her family during summers at her cottage in St. Charles.
The family invites relatives and friends to join them in celebrating Patricia’s life at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A private interment will follow at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
