It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Suzanne Guglielmi (née Bourque) on July 9, 2024, at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Ricardo Guglielmi for 47 years. Devoted mother of Christopher and Jennifer Guglielmi. Cherished sister of Marcel, Rejeanne (Paul Perreault), Gilles (Diana), Raymond, Dianne, Luke (Monique), Lucy, Yvon (Nicole), Maggie (Paul Moreau), Denise (Tom Dillon), Pierre (Tammi) and Alette. Suzanne will forever remain in the hearts of her 17 nieces and nephews, as well as several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her extended family, friends and neighbours.
Suzanne was predeceased by her parents, Victorien and Yvette Bourque (née Bergeron); her siblings, Mary, Claude and Denis Bourque; her nephews, Samuel and Jacob Dillon; her in-laws, Dante Sr. and Nellie Guglielmi, brother-in-law, Dante Jr. Guglielmi and sister-in-law, Rachel Bourque.
Suzanne had a love for sports, particularly golf, where she found joy on the green. She enjoyed cooking and making crafts with her sisters. Her passion for gardening was evident in the beautiful gardens she tended with care.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main St., Welland on Monday, July 15, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at 11:00a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 300 Chaffey St., Welland, followed by interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family kindly requests donations in memory of Suzanne to be made to Saints Peter and Paul Harvest Kitchen Program or to a charity of your choice.
