Being in many hockey & golf pools myself I noticed the name CAZA stood out as it was usually up amongst the leaders. I finally got to meet Denis when Ray C. introduced him to me at a hockey draft at my house. We met several times later - always drafting sports teams. I liked Denis as he was a pleasant fellow who sure knew his sports. He’ll be missed by all his fellow poolies.

So sad, he will be missed deeply. My condolences to his families at the loss of a great Man. We just saw him at the ball game at the “Pond” not long ago. Denis and I played cribbage at the Legion together. He was my teammate and was always smiling and kind and generous.

Mes sympathies à toi, Mariette,ainsi qu'à ta famille. Prières pour le repos de son âme.Un an passé, le 27, moi aussi, j'ai passé à la perte de mon mari , des jours difficiles . Avec l'aide de Dieu, la peine diminue , il reste les beaux souvenirs.

There are no words....Denis was more than an uncle to me, he was an older brother and a friend. I will miss his presence and idiosyncrasies. Nicole and I are heartbroken.
