To John's entire family, I was deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. I was a member of the same leadership team as John, at Janssen, and can vouch for everything that was so beautifully said in his obituary. John was an integral part of the team, and an amazing person to work with. Most importantly, he was a kind, trustworthy, generous, and all around wonderful human being. May his memories be a blessing to all of you.

So sad to hear of Johns passing. An incredible man who everyone loved spending time with. John spoke so highly of his family. You were his world.

We are so grateful to have had John in our lives for so many years. He was there for all the holidays and big birthdays and major anniversaries . The births and deaths - the good times and the not so good. Its so hard to say goodbye to someone who kept us grounded and was a strong foundation in our family. We'll miss his sense of humour and optimism. We'll miss his wisdom and advice. He taught us a lot that we'll use going forward and when I feel sad I'll think of all the wonderful family times together. Our thoughts and prayers are with Lori and Lianne and Kelly and the grandchildren-Everett & Mackenzie.

One of our long rides together, somehow convinced me that long distance bike riding was a good time. I always thought we would get another ride in together, especially since we lost each other on the last 5 of 75km and didn't cross the finish line together . Will miss you Uncle John thanks for bringing me along on the ride.

Tye and I are deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing. Our most sincere condolences to you, Lori, your children, grandchildren, and all those who knew him and loved him - he will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed running into John on our cottage road; he was always so kind, so happy, and genuinely interested in how your day was going. He had the ability to make everyone and anyone feel important and heard… a rare and beautiful quality. John’s optimism and positive outlook on life were inspiring and I’m truly grateful to have had the chance to tap into his wisdom during our many chats at the lake. John will always be in our hearts for his caring and support when Brian Fox had his accident many years ago. He would read a story to his girls and then come and sit with Brian every night of the seven weeks Brian was in hospital. He picked up our boys from the airport every weekend, and brought them to the hospital. He was such a wonderful person who meant so much to our family at the most difficult time in our lives. We will ever remember him and his family for their caring and support you gave to all of us at this most difficult time. To Lori, Leanne and Kelly please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. John will never be forgotten by us or any one who had the opportunity to know him.
